About us
Uvavanyo means “test” in the local Xhosa language. Choosing this name cements our dedication to skills development in South Africa.
Uvavanyo is a collaboration between Dr. Herman Prinsloo, Immo Böhm and the team of The Test Factory in the UK. Uvavanyo is an official reseller of TheTest Factory of the United Kingdom. We utilize the award winning online testing/coaching platform developed by the The Test Factory in the UK.
Uvavanyo is supported locally by our Afresh Consult offices in Cape Town, Somerset West, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Windhoek, Bulawayo and Harare.
Dr. Herman Prinsloo
Herman is a trained industrial psychologist with many years experience with large corporates in South Africa. Herman is a Change Management specialist and with his company: Dr. Herman Prinsloo Consulting manages a number of certified HR specialists.Immo Böhm
Immo holds a BSc degree from the University of Stellenbosch and an MBA from the University of Luton in the UK. Previously, Immo was active in the agricultural, tourism and retail industries.
Immo has vast experience in operations and logistics management, inventory optimization, business process reengineering and workflow design. He has successfully established and runs a number of businesses in Namibia and South Africa.
Kevin Beales
Kevin is Managing Director of The Test Factory, a leading provider of online test technology. He works with Uvavanyo in supporting their business and clients with the expertise gained in Europe.
Prior to The Test Factory he was part of the start up management team within The Communicator Corporation, an on-demand email marketing company, which has grown to become one of Europe's largest 'Software as a Service' providers.
He formed The Test Factory following frustrations in identifying technical candidates with the right skills and soon identified the multitude of opportunities throughout recruitment, training and compliance for simply creating your own online tests.
Previously Kevin worked with adidas and for a Premiership Soccer Club.
Lizzie Withington
Lizzie Withington graduated from Leeds University before joining Brahm as an Account Manager. Within this role she looked after a wide variety of clients including blue chip and public sector organisations, helping develop their digital strategies.She joined The Test Factory in 2007 and looks after clients such as London Ambulance Service, Microsoft and JP Morgan. Her expertise in online testing and the opportunities it provides organisations saw her manage international partnerships on behalf of The Test Factory.
Lizzie works closely with Uvavanyo to ensure their clients gain maximum benefit from the opportunities of online testing and pass on her expertise.
